To say December was uneventful would be a major understatement... I was admitted into the hospital on the 7th for pre term labor, Miss Audrey was trying to make her debut, WAY to early. So Chaz and I took up residence at the hospital on Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Monday. Thankfully my contractions stopped and my cervix started to behave so I was released to come home and be on bed rest in my own bed...yay for getting to come home, but boo for not being able to move, or sit, or stand or pick up my boy. I am now on my 4th week of bed rest and to say I am going stir crazy, would be a major under statement. Chaz has been great, and I think Colton likes it because I will lay in bed and watch Mickey mouse with him for as long as he wants.
Christmas was great, Colton was super excited about opening gifts this year, his facial expressions and sound effects were priceless. I am thankful I was a major over achiever this year because I put up all of our Christmas decor in early November (don't judge) and was done will all of our Christmas shopping by December 1st.
Colton got to attend a Christmas party this year, I was super jealous. Apparently he was a big hit.
I absolutely love his smile, and him so much. Hopefully (fingers crossed) he will be a great, protective and sweet big brother. I will be 35 weeks on Sunday and will be off of bed rest at 36/37 weeks, so the end is definitely in sight. Chaz will be out of town on business at the end of my 36th week, prayers please that nothing major happens while he is gone, and that Audrey stays put until she is at least 37 weeks cooked. The last thing I want is for her to have to go into the NICU once she is born.
Well thats all I got for now, big doctors appointment this afternoon and then a sweet little baby shower for Audrey and I on Saturday. Love to all and Happy New Year!
