5 months old!

One of my sorority sisters is a photographer and she needed baby boys to model ties for a friend of hers that makes and sells them on Etsy.com  Of course I jumped on the opportunity to get some more adorable pictures of Colton. We loaded up on Thursday morning and headed to Keller.  He a few days shy of being 5 months old in these pictures, he is getting so big! I am in love with these pictures, he has so many facial expressions and I feel like these 3 pictures capture them perfectly.

I LOVE this one... it will be on the mantle for sure! 

He LOVES his hands, so this one is perfect of me and my little man!

And this one just makes me laugh! Giddy up!

Colton is getting more interactive, which makes my days with him more fun. I recently brought down his exersaucer for him to play in. It has a bunch of different toys on it that make noise and play music but he figured out that if he puts his feet down he can throw him self back in it. He hit his head a few times but he didn't seem to mind. Here is a clip of my crazy boy.

In this video I was sitting on the floor in his room while he was laying on his changing table. He started to yell and of course since he is my kid I thought it was cute. Here yet again is another video featuring the one and only Colton!

Self Portraits

I have the new I-Phone that makes taking self portraits super easy, I snap a few pictures of him every day.  Colton can be giggling and smiling ear to ear but as soon as Chaz or I take out our phone to snap a picture of him he stops what he is doing and just stares at it. Here are a few pictures of me and my boy just hanging around.

This picture was taken yesterday, Colton and I headed to Duncanville to have lunch with my mom and Bill, I think he looks so grown up in his big boy outfit! He is such a good boy and I love him so much, I just wish he wanted to cuddle with his momma more!

SNOW

 I wish Colton was a little bit older today! It is snowing outside and it is beautiful, I would love to go outside and play with him in it. Chaz and I took him outside and I got a few pictures of him. Good thing I bought him a snow outfit a few months back because it came in handy today.

Colton is getting so big,  at his age I feel like he does something fascinating (to me) everyday. After his 4 month visit my doc told me i could start spoon feeding him rice cereal. I tried rice cereal 4 times and each time he would gag and spit everything out. Yesterday I tried banana favored oatmeal and he loved it!

He also had been laughing a lot. If I tickle his thighs or underneath his chin he starts to laugh, it is music to my ears.

4 months old!

So I have been complaining that my back has been hurting lately. I knew Colton was getting heavy and in his car seat he was almost 45 lbs. Well Colton went to the Pediatrician today and he is in the 95% for weight. Weighing in at 17lbs 13oz. I sure do love my chunky monkey. He is 25 inches long and he got an A+ for development on his physical exam!

Way to go Colt!

Christmas 2010

Colton got to experience our Christmas Extravaganza this year, and if you ask me he loved it!

We loaded up and headed to my mom's house on the 23rd. We celebrated Christmas with her and Bill on Christmas eve morning. We attempted church at 5:30 and that lasted about 30 minutes. It was Colton's nap time and he was not wanting to be held so Chaz and I headed north.
We went by the Dupre's house ( Jess's boyfriend's parents) to say hello to them. They have an annual Christmas eve celebration with friends and family, it was a good time.
On Christmas morning we opened gifts at home, then loaded up and headed to my Dad's to celebrate with the fam and all of my step moms family.
We ate at ton of great food and we all got lots of cool new things and Colton got a bunch of new toys.
 I love Christmas time, happy birthday Jesus!
