6 month check up!

Where did the time go??? I know everyone says that it is going to fly by but I can't believe that 6 months ago today Chaz and I met our baby boy for the first time.
We went to the doctor today for his 6 month check up an to get his shots. He did great and surprisingly didn't cry, i am hoping the shots don't affect him this time around as much as they did at his 4 month check up.   Colton is weighing in at 21lbs.... I was shocked he didn't weigh more because he feels like a load of bricks.

New with Colton:
He can sit up!
He is trying really hard to roll over but can't get past his shoulder.
He loves his exersaucer!
He loves green beans, peas and squash and is finally giving oatmeal a shot.
He smiles and giggles all the time!

We love you Colton!

Chaz had his knee surgery last Friday, thankfully that is past us and he is able to start rehabbing at the end of the week. It ended up being a little worse then they expected once they got in there but they were able to fix him up. Now his biggest challenge is his crutches, he isn't a big fan of them.

We stayed home for Valentines day since Chaz was all banged up and had a nice little dinner just the 3 of us. I made homemade bread pudding, it was soo tasty. Chaz sent me these beautiful flowers, calla lily's were the flowers in my bouquet at our wedding!

Colton is able to sit up if I prop him up, I have to snap the photos fast because it's only a matter of time before he starts to lean and crash! On Valentines Day in his "i love mommy" shirt I was able to capture some adorable pictures of him. He is such a happy boy and in these pictures he seems so proud of him self!

I love this one of him, you can see his dimples! 

Colton has also started screaming just to hear his own voice, he was yelling all over CVS the other day and at the grocery store. He gets a lot of attention from EVERYONE when he does it but I find it hilarious. He screams, then looks around and smiles! This video is of him giggling and screaming, again I find it adorable, I hope it brings a smile to your face!

Super Bowl XLV

Chaz won a contest at the end of 2010 and was rewarded with a 2 night stay downtown and tickets to the Super Bowl! It was my first night away from Colton so I was a little apprehensive but it ended up being a much needed break for both of us and a once in a life time experience. Our seats were great and the game was awesome. We were cheering for the Packers so the game ended in our favor! A big thank you to Gram and Papa ( mom & bill) for staying with Colton!

more 5 month pics

These pictures were taken on his 5 month b-day! Just wanted to share the pictures of my chubby, out of control drooling, lovable little boy! 

So to use there stickers he has to have on a solid white shirt and since he is growing like a weed I just tucked the snaps under his belly and made the onesie look like a white-tee!

5 months old!

One of my sorority sisters is a photographer and she needed baby boys to model ties for a friend of hers that makes and sells them on Etsy.com  Of course I jumped on the opportunity to get some more adorable pictures of Colton. We loaded up on Thursday morning and headed to Keller.  He a few days shy of being 5 months old in these pictures, he is getting so big! I am in love with these pictures, he has so many facial expressions and I feel like these 3 pictures capture them perfectly.

I LOVE this one... it will be on the mantle for sure! 

He LOVES his hands, so this one is perfect of me and my little man!

Colton is getting more interactive, which makes my days with him more fun. I recently brought down his exersaucer for him to play in. It has a bunch of different toys on it that make noise and play music but he figured out that if he puts his feet down he can throw him self back in it. He hit his head a few times but he didn't seem to mind. Here is a clip of my crazy boy.

In this video I was sitting on the floor in his room while he was laying on his changing table. He started to yell and of course since he is my kid I thought it was cute. Here yet again is another video featuring the one and only Colton!
